AIMotionCoach Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how AIMotionCoach ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AIMotionCoach app.

2. Data We Process

• Camera data: live video frames captured from your device camera during real-time analysis sessions.
• Uploaded media: videos or images you choose to upload for exercise form analysis.
• Exercise metadata: the exercise type you select (e.g. squat, deadlift, pushup) and session duration.
• App diagnostics: basic logs to maintain service quality and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Data

• Provide real-time and video-based movement analysis features.
• Generate posture feedback and training summaries.
• Improve app stability, performance, and user experience.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI Analysis Service & Data Transmission

To perform exercise form analysis, your video data is transmitted to our AI analysis service operated by AIMotionCoach (aimoach.com). This service is owned and operated by us — it is not an independent third-party AI provider.

• Video upload mode: the video file you select is sent once to aimoach.com for processing. The annotated result video is returned to your device and the uploaded file is deleted from our servers after analysis completes.
• Live camera mode: compressed video frames (JPEG, approx. 360 px wide) are streamed to aimoach.com approximately 8 times per second via an encrypted connection. Frames are processed in real time and are not stored after the session ends.

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/WSS connections. Your video data and motion analysis results are not shared with any other third parties, not used to train external AI models, and not used for advertising purposes.

5. Permissions

The app requests Camera permission to capture workout movements for motion analysis. You can change this permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded videos and live session frames are deleted from our servers promptly after analysis is complete. Diagnostic logs are retained only as long as needed to maintain service quality, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

8. Children’s Privacy

AIMotionCoach is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
